Magazine/Other Restrictions by State
Magazine laws and regulations are ever changing. Any summaries of such laws and regulations provided by MHSA herein are not comprehensive and are not to be taken as legal advice or counseling.
California: No magazines over 10 rounds. No threaded pistol barrels.

Colorado: No ammunition feeding devices over 15 rounds.

Connecticut: No ammunition feeding devices over 10 rounds.

Hawaii: The manufacture, possession, sale, barter, trade, gift, transfer, or acquisition of detachable ammunition magazines with a capacity in excess of ten rounds which are designed for or capable of use with a pistol are prohibited.
Illinois:
- Aurora: No magazines over 15 rounds (long guns only).- Chicago: No magazines over 15 rounds (shotgun only).- Franklin Park: No magazines over 16 rounds (long guns only).- Oak Park: No magazines over 10 rounds (long guns only).- Riverdale: No magazines over 35 rounds (long guns only).**Note, metal machine gun links are considered "feeding devices" so we cannot ship links of any quantity as they could easily be made into capacities over the limit.
Maryland: No magazines over 10 rounds.

New York: No magazines over 10 rounds.

Washington: No more than 10 round magazines.
Washington, D.C.: No magazines over 10 rounds.
